I am a PG(mass Communication) holder and now running an internet cafe at Thrissur. I tired for a job in many of the media organizations in Kerala. But no one was able to offer me a decent salary.
Could you please suggest one institution which gives above RS 15000?. There is only one or two. That means our scope in media is very few. So please don’t misguide poor youngsters to media studies. That will lead to the birth of more and more internet cafes and DTP centers
Actually, there is no need of a Mass communication degree to become a jounalist. No newspaper or media channel asks for a PG in Mass communication for their recruits. You can try for UGC and get lectureship in colleges or go to big cities outside Kerala and become tech writer (if you have very good proficiency in English) that will give you the anticipated salary and more...
